Think the Economy is Bad? Create Your Own

The media is full of stories about how bad the economy is and has everybody thinking the same. But is it really bad? There are always some businesses and some people experiencing a bad economy but there has never been a time when everyone is experiencing a bad economy. A lot of millionaires were made during the Great Depression. Millionaires and billionaires are being made right now in this so called "bad economy".

The wealthy create their own economy and know how to make money during any kind of economic upswing or downswing. If you want to do that, you need to create your own economy, and that is what I am doing. So how do you do that?

A job will never give you the security you need because it requires too much of your time, limits the amount of money you can make, and your employment status can change at the whim of people you don't even know. To create your own economy you have to be in business for yourself. Actually, you want to have multiple businesses that don't require your constant attention. In other words, they make you money while you sleep. This is called having Multiple Streams of Income, or MSIs.

There are many ways to create income streams. Let me tell you what I am doing. I still have a job, so I'm not telling you do anything drastic, like quit. I have started a business with a network marketing company and signed up for several affiliate marketing programs. Basically, I make money by promoting and selling other people's products. I am very interested in wellness, so I use and promote products from Nikken, a network marketing company in wellness. I am also very interested in personal growth, so I use and promote learning products from personal growth instructors such as Bob Proctor, James Arthur Ray, and Loral Langemeier. Just about anybody selling a product has an affiliate marketing program. I do all of this online so my store is always open and I really do make money while I sleep.
